Time and place connect me to the creative process in emotional, literal, and abstract manners.. The working narrative occurs partly by creating a range of methods, decisions and techniques, each building upon the story and individuality of the piece. Creating an  inventory of parts, shapes and surfaces that reference objects and materials in various states of existence. Old, new, found, discarded and collected connect my functional and sculptural work to my memories and travels.
